PC-based vs non PC-based systems
A non PC-based system has built-in software and so cannot suffer from hard disk failure or viruses but is harder to expand or update. A PC-based system lets you run other software on the same unit and plug in standard peripherals such as ink jet printers. There are no limits to the number of products on the system and any new features can be installed as you need them.
